Tuesday - Snapshot vs. Fine Art

1.) Define Snapshot and Fine Art in own words.
Snapshot- A snapshot is to capture a moment in time without thinking of the possible gain you could get from it. They could could be Fine Art of you wanted them to be.
Fine Art- A picture that took time to take and looks nice and is perfect.

2.) Could you easily tell which photos were meant to be fine art and which were meant to be snapshots? Yes

3.) What are some differences between both types of photography? Fine Art is more professional and snapshots are more amatuer and less professional.

4.) Do you think Snapshots could be Fine Art too? Why? Yes they could. If they're edited and greatly appreciated and wonderful, they could be Fine Art.

5.) What details make one type more successful than the other? Snapshots are more amatuer and fine art is practiced and prefessional.

6.) Example photos.

Project 1 - Daily Life

Title: The Daily Life
Concept/Theme/Story: Daily Life
Description: I chose to tell the story of my daily life, I go to school, I laugh with my friends, I read comics, and go to concerts ocasionally. The photos are everything that could happen in a day in my life.
Process: I captured all my photos with my iPhone. I didn't gather the photos in any particular order.
Editing/Photoshop: All but one of my photos were edited in photoshop with skills i had learned in the previous year. I used Satuation and Vibrance alot to make the colors stand out and make the obvious.
